Community Service

Community service is an integral part of a well-rounded education. Students at The Palmas Academy participate in services projects each year for the benefit of the school and the community. The school’s community service projects give students the skills and mindsets to go on to be leaders in their community and the world.

Community service fosters teamwork, confidence and leadership skills. Students at The Palmas Academy initiate projects, lead efforts and collaborate to seek results. Students begin serving the community at a very young age and continue to serve until graduation. Recent service projects have included [list some examples here].

Through its community service programs, The Palmas Academy seeks to instill in students characteristics of leadership and an appreciation for diversity. Service projects enable students to experience a world beyond their school and neighborhood. As a result, students are both more compassionate and more critical.
