School Life

First and foremost, The Palmas Academy provides a world-class education to all its students, from preschool through 12th grade. But the academy also recognizes that a well-rounded education goes beyond math and reading. For that reason, the school offers students a broad curriculum and numerous extracurricular activities that promote curiosity, critical thinking and leadership skills.

The Palmas Academy seeks to balance a traditional education with arts, athletics, community service and independent activities. Students of all ages regularly participate in a wide range of activities that engage all parts of their brains.

Students at The Palmas Academy look forward to coming to school. They are engaged both in their daily lessons and in the after-school activities the school offers. Through challenging and inspiring lessons, teachers encourage children to enjoy learning and continue exploring beyond the classroom.

The school’s Extended Day Program encourages children to pursue their passions beyond the classroom. Students can explore a broad selection of activities, from physical fitness to unique artistic endeavors. Students are expected to participate in community service programs and encouraged to join in annual international travel, which promotes cultural understanding and broadens students’ perspectives.

The Palmas Academy’s students live with a life-long passion for learning, a commitment to community service and a spirit of inclusion. These characteristics are promoted in the classroom and around the campus.
